Typically after my last visit and a bad result at home to York the pilgrims have gone away and had two away wins on the bounce.

First on the Tuesday after the York game away to Dagenham and a 2-1 victory thanks to a goal a piece from Reid and Alessandra.

Then on to beat promotion hopefuls Fleetwood 4-0 at The Highbury Stadium and in our 4th meeting against the newest tidy club to make its way from the Non League in recent years.

Anyway today it was Morecambe. Argyle have played Morecambe 5 times in the last few seasons and still yet to lose at home today wasn't about to change that making it 6 games and only losing once.

Plymouth started with an attacking formation,

                                                                                     Cole

                                                              Blanchard     Trotman       Nelson

                                                                                   Wotton
                                                   Berry                                                        Parsons

                                                                    Young                Hourihane

                                                                                Alessandra

                                                                                     Reid

In my opinion this made a massive impact in recent improvement. Wotton sat holding infront of the three CBs has made a huge difference.

This has allowed the two fullbacks to properly support the midfield and whichever one has gone alowing either Nelson or Blanchard come over to fullback and Wotton drop into CB quickly cover the forward flowing team.

Its also given the midfield of Young and Hourihane so much support wide that they have bossed the midfields against them be able to concentrate on helpitn Reid who seem much less isolated than the beginging of the season.

The Pilgrims first came after only 5 minutes after a penatrating run down the left wing from Parsons making his Home Park Debut and smashing a decent strike to be parried into Berry's path for him to slot home for his first Argyle goal.

The second was a well taken Goal from Alessandra after captain Hourihane robbed the midfield on the hlafway line and slid a beautful ball through the defence to leave Lewis with just the keeper to beat and he duly abliged.

Enter Tyler Harvey and within minutes the young Argyle Protege was causing havoc, Winning a corner minutes after coming on for the impressive Nelson to come up for the corner and powering in a header from the resulting corner.

Then after some excellent work from Harvey and Gurrieri the ball cut back from the byline back into Gurrieri's path for him to tuck it under the bar a minute after coming on.

Finally in injury time there was enough time for the cherry on the cake with Gurrieri again playing his part to put the man of the match Alessandra in again to fein a shot and putting the defender on his arse and then bending the ball ito the top right corner in front of a buoyant Devenport End.
